Can we manage more than one compliance framework?
Yes. One of the key benefits of Clarity is being able to manage multiple frameworks in the same environment. Requirements can be linked to common controls, helping reduce duplicated evidence and giving you a more joined-up view of compliance across the organisation.
Is this a replacement for our PCI DSS assessment or ISO 27001 certification?
No. Clarity helps you manage the work that sits between formal assessments and certification activities. It does not replace the independent assessment or certification process where one is required.
The benefit is that when the next formal review arrives, the underlying controls, evidence, and recurring activity should already be much easier to demonstrate.
Is Clarity right if we are just starting out?
Yes. Clarity gives you the structure to manage compliance properly from the outset, rather than building the programme in spreadsheets and migrating it later.
If Blackfoot carries out an initial gap assessment or readiness project, we use the outputs to pre-populate Clarity with relevant controls, findings, and actions, giving you a strong starting point.
Do we have to run the compliance programme ourselves?
That depends on your internal capability. Your team can operate Clarity directly, with us providing setup and support, or Blackfoot can take a more active role in ongoing compliance management. Either way, accountability for compliance stays with your organisation.
Does ongoing compliance management create more work?
No. The point is to spread the work through the year, not add another layer of administration. Clarity helps keep evidence, ownership, recurring tasks, and actions visible as part of normal activity, so there is less to reconstruct when a formal assessment or certification comes around.
Do we actually need a compliance management platform?
The pressure usually comes between formal assessments. Evidence needs to stay current, recurring activities need owners and dates, actions need tracking, and lean teams manage all of that alongside their day jobs.
Clarity keeps controls, evidence, actions, owners, and review cycles visible, reduces reliance on spreadsheets and manual chasing, and shows where something is starting to drift.
